     Bonjour,

    Hello,
I have a Clio III 16V 112 hp 2005 and when I want to validate the VIN detected by my MD802, this blocking device and I do not have any response from the device. I left this one shot several minutes but no answer and therefore impossible to make a diagnosis of my vehicle.
What especially as I have just updated my MD802 in french?

did you have this problem before you updated or just after. and is your 802 all systems or just 4 systems and did you put all updates on 4gb card

Mine is doing the same for all renaults, it gets to the VIN acquisition stage and freezes, I had to revert to version 1.00 to make it work properly. V2.10 is corrupted

leaving your 4gb card and updating a 8-16gb card is best it has been known for the update to remove some older cars and dater then you can put 4gb card back in and use v1.0 4gb card is to small for all updates and can corrupt sd card in some cases

I tried the 4GB and have updated to an 8GB which has done nothing to solve the issue with version 2.10

that's why its best not to update 4gb card  and do what you did and update 8gb card then when you get problems you can go back to 4gb card updates have removed some older cars

I keep a copy on my desktop of the 4gb card but the issue here is the entire Renault program that was written seems to be corrupt, its stuck in an infinite loop and a new update urgently needs to be launched or else somehow it is becoming corrupted along the line. Also I don't see why newer updates would remove older cars? that wouldnt be a very intelligent move given the work is already done for the older cars

talk to some of the people on this forum who have lost dater on older cars and they can tell you my self the update lost auto scan on vw golfs below 2004 probably some other cars I haven't scanned yet putting the 4gb card back in puts it right have you updated your 4gb card or have you left it untouched. Your probably right about the Renault update other people on other parts off the forum ar getting half way through auto scan and its boot looping as well so autel need to pull there finger out and sort it at least you can go back to v1.0 and it works
